He is best known as the keyboardist of the band "Rainbow". After "Rainbow" he performed as a solo artist and a session musician. This is the first album after the split of the band in early 1987, "Hero of Asphalt" is also the first album officially released by "Melody", the two previous albums at that time existed and were distributed as tape albums only on tape cassettes.
