Originally released as a double album, Bad Girls became the best-selling and most critically acclaimed album of Summer's career. It was also her last studio album on the Casablanca Records label. Bad Girls reached the top of the US Billboard 200 chart, where it lasted six weeks. Bad Girls received universal acclaim and was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) just a week after its release. JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE-ELECTRIC LADYLAND-1968 ORIGINAL PRESS 1973 UK-POLYDOR - 2310269-70. A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983".
