Aardvark – (1970) The one-album English band took as their name a term denoting a representative of the tropical fauna-the African anteater. In the late 60s and early 70s, during the musical rock boom, a huge number of bands released one or two albums. Many of these groups often imitated already known artists, a number of groups tried to experiment with sound, but due to the lack of professionalism and talent, their music was of little interest to anyone... But still, many were not deservedly forgotten, as the material released by these teams was sometimes very interesting, and often did not concede or even surpass in quality, the then monsters from rock... One of these teams was the Aardvark group. On July 11, 1969, Aardvark, Blodwyn Pig and The Good Earth, along with THE Soft Machine, participated in Midnight Rave No. 3 at the Classic Theatre.
