The album includes recording 8 songs that were recorded on the program "Sound of the 70s" Radio station BBC Radio 1. The first four were recorded February 5, 1973, the remaining 3 December the same year. All tracks, except one, from the album "Queen", only the song "Ogre Battle" from the album "Queen II". The songs are not performed as they then appeared on the albums. They played in this variant, which they later performed at concerts.
