Mega rare British original hard Blues progressive album. They were founded in 1970 by classical multi-instrumentalist Peter Solly and jazz drummer Keith Webb, two members of Terry reed's band that was part of the opening act for The Rolling Stones on their 1969 American tour . Other band members were Derek Foley (guitar and vocals), formerly of Grisby Dyke; Lou Stonebridge (keyboards and vocals) of Glass Menagerie, who released five progressive rock and psychedelic rock singles, as well as lead singer Grisby Dyke; and Peter Beckett (bass guitar, vocals), who came from Liverpool-based Winston G and the Wicked, and later in the final incarnation of World of Oz .They played at venues across the UK, working to develop their sound by performing a mix of rock, Blues, soul, jazz and Latin music. The paladin's use of a double keyboard also created a unique sound. These performances were noticed by Bronze Records (who also recorded Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann). On January 8, 1971, paladin entered Olympic Studios in London to record his debut self-titled first album, produced by Filamore Lincoln. Reviews were good, but sales were disappointing. ...more

SOUNDS OF MU-ROUGH SUNSET-1995-FIRST PRESS RUSSIA-MAMONOV-OM04. A very rare original of the cult album. Rough sunset is the fifth Studio album under the banner "Sounds of Mu" and the first recorded in the new line-up. The second line-up of the band grew out of the project of Peter Mamonov with his half-brother Alexey Bortnichuk, which was to be the next step in his musical development. Subsequently, the Duo became a Quartet, and the newly formed group needed a name. Mamonov considered it necessary to change the name from the original, "Mamonov and Alexey", to the already used"sounds of Mu". The application of the old name of the group to the new line-up caused discontent among the members of the former "collective", which led to accusations against Mamonov and the formation of the collective "echoes of Mu". In addition to Mamonov and Bortnichuk, the new line-up included bassist Yevgeny Kazantsev and drummer Andrey Nadolsky. Mamonov himself sought to create a wall of sound on the album, changing the sound in favor of guitar parts. As a follow-up to Jagger's 1985 success She's the Boss, Primitive Cool was another attempt by Jagger to make him a solo star. However, the commercial response was cooler than expected. ARKTIS-ARKTIS TAPES-1975-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-BON BON-BBR7502. Mega rare short-run original of one of the key prog albums of the 70s. Arktis - Arktis Tapes 1975. The second album of the band from Bonn. Unfortunately, the first album did not find a "buyer", and in 1974, with the assistance of Konrad Planck, Arktis recorded a second demo album, released in may 1975 with a circulation of 500 copies-again for promotion purposes. The music here is somewhat restrained, but no less attractive and covering. In this music, you can feel not only a craving for art-rock (prolonged instrumental pieces), but also the sprouts of guitar technique, characteristic of what in the next decade was called "heavy metal". One critic wrote a scathing note: If such an album had been released in 1969 or 1970, they would have been at the top with Black Sabbath and LED ZEPPELIN , and now the time is gone.
