No Dice is the third Studio album by the British rock band Badfinger, released by Apple Records and released on 9 November 1970. Their second album called Badfinger and the first to include guitarist Joey Molland, No Dice significantly expanded the popularity of the British band, especially abroad. The album included both the hit single "No Matter What "and the song" Without You", which was to become one of the most successful tracks of the rock era. No Dice reached number 28 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Widely praised in music reviews at the time, Rolling Stone magazine opined that it represented what the Beatles would have sounded like if they had kept their original formula. The single from this record, "No Matter What", peaked in the United States at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1970.

Unfortunately, the first album did not find a "buyer", and in 1974, with the assistance of Konrad Planck, Arktis recorded a second demo album, released in may 1975 with a circulation of 500 copies-again for promotion purposes. The music here is somewhat restrained, but no less attractive and covering. In this music, you can feel not only a craving for art-rock (prolonged instrumental pieces), but also the sprouts of guitar technique, characteristic of what in the next decade was called "heavy metal".
