Founding guitarist Luther Grosvenor did not return to the band, as he joined Mott the Hoople as a guitarist, adopting the stage name Ariel Bender . Grosvenor was replaced by Mick Jones, who later co-founded Foreigner, and drummer Mike Kelly was replaced by Bryson Graham .
