Welcome to My Nightmare is the eighth Studio album by Alice Cooper, recorded with producer Bob Ezrin and released by Atlantic Records in March 1975. This is the first album Cooper, interpreted as a solo work.The disc climbed to 5th place in the U.S., until the 19th in the UK[1] in both countries, becoming platinum. The singles from it came "Only Women Bleed" (under the heading "Women Only", # 12 US), "Department of Youth" (# 67 US) and "Welcome to My Nightmare" (# 45 US). Cover plate (by drew Struzan) subsequently joined the list of "Best album covers of all time" of Rolling Stone magazine.
