The album became a hit, but less successful than the previous one.Single from the album, a cover version of the song The Platters "Only You (And You Alone)", reached 6th place in the charts in the United States. Gill and Roelofs 1980 record a new album, preceded by its release of the single We Gotta Get Out Of This Place. The album was called I Like Some Cool Rock'n'roll, and it was produced by himself, Roelofs, and Farian remained in the project as a viewer and a producer, for which, however, had the final word. The album was attended by interesting disco song Go Down Main Street, Tom Cat, as well as a few songs Roelofs, co-written by Fred Jay, including a beautiful lyrical Take Your Time. What prevented this album to be a bestseller, unknown, but, apparently, the role played by the fact that in 1980 disco began to experience hard times.
