Fields of Gold: The Best of Sting 1984-1994 is the first official greatest hits collection by British rock musician sting, contains the singles from the album: The Dream of The Blue Turtles, ...Nothing Like the Sun, The Soul Cages and Ten Summoner's Tales. The compilation includes two new songs: "When We Dance" and "This Cowboy Song" — both were released as singles (however, this version of "This Cowboy Song" was released as the b-side; the a side was released a reggae version of the song, which sting wrote in collaboration with Pato Benton). Also on the disc featured an alternate version of "We'll Be Together" and the new version of "Why Should I Cry for You", which is different from the original, from The Soul Cages.
