Rare American original in the absolute state.The album was recorded by the band as a trio to record Erik Brann left the band due to disagreements and was replaced by four session guitarists. Two of them - Larry Reinhardt, Mike Pinera shortly after its release became official members of Iron Butterfly. The album was released not under the name Iron Butterfly, but under the name "Iron Butterfly With Pinera & Rhino" referring to the two aforementioned guitarists.

In the spring of 1969 CUBY & THE BLIZZARDS toured Holland with FLEETWOOD MAC, and in August went to tour in the UK, where she was able to perform also as a prestigious Marquee Club. But despite a very successful tour and the growing popularity of the group, she soon had serious problems with the composition. Van Eyck went to TRACE, and dick Beckman moved in LIVIN’ BLUES, and in addition to everything from Herman Brood had problems with the law – he was arrested and the Hague for possession of drugs, and he also had to leave the team. Masks and Gelling completed the composition of immigrants from BLUES DIMENSION groups of Herman Deinum, Hans Lafaille, Helmig Van Der Vegt. In this composition he recorded the album “Appleknockers Flophouse”. Musically, the album was noticeably different from the previous one.
