The first press. April 26, 1963. First press has black labels with gold print and “Parlophone Co. ltd.” the beginning of the inscription on the perimeter of the label. “"DICK JAMES" credits on the tracks “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret” & “There's A Place”. With or without the tax code and with 33 1/3 on the label. A polyethylene tab, the “USE Emitex”.

Original STEREO with the credit "DICK JAMES" gold on the label.The vinyl record is in very good condition with a moderate amount of marks and scratches with the surface environment - VG+/EX . Cover in good condition with some fading, corners and panels and fit the back of the flip VG+(STRICTLY!). Labels are in beautiful condition with minimal traces of use - NMINT(STRICTLY!!!!). Good copy for such a rarity!!!!!

ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER & TIM RICE-JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (2LP)-1970-UK FIRST PRESS-MCA - MKPS2011/12. The first edition of the album was released in early July 1970, several months before official release. It is an extremely rare because it was stamped only a few hundred copies. The album went on sale and were sent out as promotion for the press and managers industry. Cover is an envelope, unfolding in the form of four-pointed stars (all stars is made of shiny foil) and the "buttoned" rear. Illustration with the image of Christ here is not on a separate attachment, but posted on the bottom of the envelope. All subsequent English editions were produced either in a box or in a conventional double envelope.Labels MCA Records old design of the late 1960-ies, yellow on the background of the "drill". Plain white or white & black “LP advertising” inner sleeves. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 605-1 or -2; Side 2: XEX 606-1. This is how the labels first appeared on the shelves. Still using the sans serif Arial typeset. Also, these early labels misprint the side 2 track Doctor Robert as “Dr. Robert”. These early Sans-serif labels have each song title starting on a new line with the first line purely for “Taxman” and have “Eleanor Rigby” starting on the second line down.
