Records. This is the last album with guitarist John Frusciante, who left the group in 2009. The album is accompanied by the release of singles "Dani California", "Snow (Hey Oh)", "Desecration Smile", "Hump de Bump" and "Tell Me Baby".
During the first week, "Stadium Arcadium" has sold 442 000 copies in the US and for the first time in the history of the band debuted in first place in the Billboard 200.The album received the Grammy award for best rock album of the year, best rock song ("Dani California") and best vocal rock performance by a Duo or group ("Dani California"). All in all, the group was represented in seven categories — more than in his entire musical career, and won five.
